Lasik surgery
This is one of the most common procedures. Lasik surgery can improve the vision for the nearsighted, farsighted and astigmatism. The procedure takes around 30 min for both eyes, the doctor gives numbing eye drops and replaces the corneal flap after its been reshaped. People can usually resume with their life the day after surgery but should take it easy for a couple of days or weeks.
The criteria to be a good candidate for Lasik surgery:
18 years of age.
Have a good eye health because this can affect how your eyes respond to the surgery and healing. Such conditions could be pink eye, dry eye syndrome or eye injuries.
You also need to have a stable prescription for at least one year prior to the surgery.
Have sufficient thickness in your cornea.

Cataract surgery

Blepharoplasty is an eyelid surgery to remove excess skin to improve the appearance of the eyelids. This is most often a cosmetic procedure that can make you look younger, have less wrinkles and reduce the appearance of baggy eyes. With age the skin around the eyes stretch and the muscles weakens, this can cause peripheral vision problems. Once you have done the procedure it can last for a lifetime and for others this can recur.
